Acadia Em Forum: Airway, Sedation, & Pain Forum For Emergency Physicians
Acadia EM Forum is unique as a national conference for its focus on natural beauty in a remote location, small size (limited to 16 participants), and discussion-based format. Instead of lectures, a weekend-long conversation on emergency airway, sedation and pain management topics. Instead of monologue, dialogue. No slides, no microphones.
Raise your beauty to death ratio with one long weekend in Acadia National Park: 18 emergency docs. 14 hours CME. No slides. No microphones.
Mornings: Biking, hiking, and sea kayaking, with half marathon or 5K available on 9/21.
Afternoons: case-based discussions on the topics of airway, sedation, pain and procedures.
Richard Levitan, MD and Reuben Strayer, MD are your faculty.
Hampton Inn, Bar Harbor is less than a mile to the park entrance and Acadia’s beautiful carriage roads and an hour away from Bangor Airport.
