Course Objectives
After attending this course, participants should be able to:
- Incorporate strategies into practice to reduced the likelihood of misdiagnosis of pediatric emergencies
- Identify physical examination findings suggestive of critical illness in pediatric patients to avoid inappropriate discharges
- Enhance clinical skills with regard to the day-to-day care of pediatric emergency department patients.
Target Audience
Pediatric Boot Camp is designed to meet the needs of the non-pediatric trained physician and other care providers.
